In 1968 Helio de Godoy, a civil engineer, inherited Fazenda Piedade from his grandfather. Since then, he has abandoned his main professional activity to devote himself exclusively to coffee production.
Over the years, it has expanded its holdings to include Cerro Mineiro, and has also expanded its production offerings to newer and more competitive varietals in terms of productivity and in-cup quality. Helio invests to improve production in a sustainable way.
It also actively participates in the project promoted by the SMC cooperative “Donas do Café” to improve the working conditions of its female employees by promoting training courses. Among the goals of the project,to involve more and more women in the world of fine coffee.
This batch was processed by natural method and left to dry on the patio for days.
